Methods for Wrist Strain Data Collection and Modelling
Created using ChatSlide
This study investigates the Wrist Strain Index (WSI) by measuring wrist angle and pain score using flex sensors and mobile applications. A normalisation process was applied to derive the WSI formula, categorising risk levels. The methodology included compliance tracking and pilot interventions to validate the reliability of WSI. Results highlighted reduced WSI and posture improvement, despite study limitations. Future directions focus on refining tools and expanding applications.
