Created using ChatSlide
This study, published open-access in Foot & Ankle Orthopaedics (Vol. 9, Issue 4), compares outcomes of MIS chevron surgery and open Lapidus for geriatric bunion treatment. Using radiographic and PROMIS score data, the study found no significant differences in radiographic measures between methods, but MIS surgery demonstrated quicker functional recovery. Both techniques are deemed safe and effective. DOI: 10.1177/2473011424S00206.
