Optimizing Sub-mm Particle Tracking with Scintillator-SiPM System

This research explores the development of a plastic scintillator detector centered around a 3×3 cm² scintillator tile, coupled with Hamamatsu SiPMs and EJ-200 scintillator material. The study highlights the design and assembly process, including signal digitization via optical systems. Detailed evaluation such as efficiency, resolution, and timing performance, along with beam test results, demonstrate the applicability of the detector system in physics experiments.
