This study aims to create detailed bearing capacity zonation maps for six municipalities in Kathmandu Valley, focusing on the valley's complex lacustrine geology and rapid urbanization impacts. Utilizing borehole data and SPT N-values, GIS interpolation techniques, alongside PLAXIS 3D numerical modeling, were employed.
