AI Slides Now Use Your Uploaded Images

When a paid user uploads a PDF, PPTX, or DOCX, ChatSlide now extracts every embedded image and feeds them into the AI image pool — so the generated deck uses your own figures, charts, and screenshots instead of generic stock photos. A new banner also back-fills images for projects you uploaded before this change.

Slide Chat Adds Real Chart Pages

Ask the slide assistant for "a pie chart of Q3 revenue" or "a bar chart comparing 2025 vs 2026" and it now inserts an actual chart slide — same engine as the dedicated chart tool. Previously the chat would acknowledge the request and just add a plain text slide.

Snappier Template Picker

Template cards now respond instantly when you click them — with a press effect and a violet ring while the preview opens. No more wondering whether the click registered.

Coming Soon

The roadmap for ChatSlide is not only about adding more buttons or checking off feature requests. It is about removing friction from every important stage of presentation work: thinking through a message, turning that message into a structure, translating it into clear visuals, collaborating with others, and delivering it in the format your audience actually needs. The next group of features is designed around that bigger picture so the product can support faster creation without sacrificing control, polish, or credibility.

We pay especially close attention to how people use ChatSlide under real deadlines. Founders preparing for investor meetings, teachers building tomorrow morning's lecture, consultants summarizing a client workshop, and marketers packaging campaign results all face the same tension: the story has to be good, but the time available is limited. The items below reflect where we think AI can create the most leverage next, while still keeping presentation creation grounded in practical workflows rather than novelty for novelty's sake.

Real-time collaboration for teams

We are building a multiplayer editing experience so founders, marketers, teachers, and consultants can shape the same deck together without creating a messy chain of duplicate files. The goal is to make ChatSlide feel less like a solo generator and more like a shared workspace where comments, edits, approvals, and presentation polish happen in one place. You will be able to invite teammates into a draft, see who is editing in real time, and keep presentation structure aligned even when multiple people are contributing at once.

This matters because great presentations are rarely produced by one person alone. Sales decks involve product marketing and account executives. Course slides involve instructors and teaching assistants. Fundraising decks involve founders, operators, and design-minded advisors. Real-time collaboration is meant to reduce friction at the exact moment when speed matters most: the final hours before a class, meeting, pitch, or product launch.

Explore team workflows

Smarter AI voice narration and delivery controls

We plan to upgrade AI voice narration so recorded presentations sound more natural, more expressive, and more aligned with the purpose of each slide. That includes better pacing, clearer pronunciation for domain-specific vocabulary, and improved control over tone so users can choose whether a deck sounds academic, conversational, executive, or promotional. Instead of generic narration, the long-term aim is to help each presentation feel intentionally delivered.

We also want stronger editing controls around pauses, emphasis, chapter breaks, and slide-to-slide rhythm. For educators, this means clearer lesson flow. For sales teams, it means more persuasive demos. For internal teams, it means faster asynchronous updates that still feel human. Our belief is simple: if AI can help write a deck, it should also help you present it with confidence.

Figma import for design-to-deck workflows

A lot of great slide content starts in product mockups, diagrams, brand systems, and one-off visuals created in Figma. We want to make it dramatically easier to bring those assets into ChatSlide without rebuilding layouts by hand. The coming workflow is designed to let users turn frames, graphics, and rough concepts into editable presentation sections, preserving design intent while still letting AI help with content expansion and restructuring.

This feature is especially valuable for startups and agencies that already have strong visual systems but still need help converting design work into polished narratives. Rather than forcing a trade-off between beautiful design and fast generation, Figma import is intended to connect both. The result should be a smoother bridge from concept, to mockup, to presentation, to final export.

Interactive quizzes and audience participation inside slides

We are exploring built-in quiz blocks, polls, and knowledge checks that presenters can add to generated decks in a few clicks. For teachers, trainers, and workshop hosts, static slides are often not enough. They need moments where the audience pauses, answers a question, reflects on a concept, or chooses a path through the material. By making interaction a first-class part of slide creation, ChatSlide can support learning outcomes instead of only visual output.

The vision is to offer easy-to-edit question components, simple scoring or response collection, and reusable interaction patterns for lectures, onboarding, and webinars. That makes presentations more than a sequence of pages. It turns them into guided experiences that encourage attention, improve retention, and create a stronger feedback loop between presenter and audience.

See education use cases

Advanced analytics dashboard for presentation performance

We want creators to understand not only how quickly a deck was made, but also how well it performs after it is shared. An advanced analytics dashboard is on the roadmap to help users see which presentations are opened most often, where viewers spend time, which chapters are skipped, and which formats drive stronger engagement. Instead of guessing whether a presentation resonates, teams will have a clearer signal about what content works.

This direction fits especially well for sales enablement, customer education, and internal communications. When teams can see patterns across many decks, they can improve messaging at the system level rather than only polishing one presentation at a time. Better measurement leads to better storytelling, and better storytelling creates compounding leverage across the whole organization.

Learn about enterprise usage

White-label options and API access for larger organizations

As more companies build repeatable content workflows, we see demand for deeper integration beyond the standard product experience. White-label capabilities and API access are planned so larger organizations can embed presentation generation into their own systems, automate recurring deck creation, and align outputs with brand requirements at scale. That could support consulting firms, internal enablement teams, universities, and software products that need presentation generation as a core function.

The broader goal is flexibility. Some teams want a polished self-serve app. Others want a branded workflow connected to CRM, LMS, CMS, or knowledge tools. By supporting both, ChatSlide can serve individual professionals today while also becoming an infrastructure layer for presentation creation tomorrow. We want the product to grow with the ambition of the people using it.

Recently Completed

While the public roadmap naturally focuses attention on what comes next, the product direction also becomes clearer when you look at the sequence of work that is already done. The milestones below show a pattern: first, establish a reliable core generation experience; next, improve outputs and supporting utilities; then, broaden the ecosystem so users can move from idea to export to delivery with less context switching. That progression is intentional.

We do not think of ChatSlide as a single isolated feature. We think of it as a growing presentation operating system for people who need to communicate clearly under pressure. Some completed milestones are highly visible, such as AI image generation or export quality. Other milestones are quieter but equally important, such as discovery pages, education access, and utility tools that save time around the edges of the main workflow. Together, they form the foundation for the much bigger product we are building.

January 2024

Initial public launch of ChatSlide AI

The first public version established the core promise of the product: turn ideas, notes, PDFs, and rough documents into structured presentations much faster than traditional slide software. This milestone gave early users a practical workflow they could test in classrooms, startup teams, and client work.

Our Vision

We want presentation creation to feel more like thinking and less like formatting.

The long-term vision for ChatSlide is to become the most helpful AI workspace for turning expertise into clear visual communication. That does not mean replacing human judgment. It means handling the repetitive, slow, and frustrating parts of presentation work so people can focus on what actually matters: making a strong point, teaching a difficult concept, aligning a team, persuading a buyer, or telling a compelling story. We believe many professionals do not struggle because they lack ideas. They struggle because the path from idea to high-quality delivery is fragmented across too many tools and too many tedious steps.

Over time, we want ChatSlide to support the full lifecycle of a presentation. That starts with source material such as notes, outlines, documents, webpages, PDFs, research, and rough talking points. It continues through AI structuring, drafting, design, illustration, localization, narration, editing, collaboration, and export. Eventually, it extends into measurement and iteration so users can learn from how presentations perform in the real world. In that sense, our ambition is broader than an AI slide generator. We are building a system that helps people move from raw knowledge to persuasive communication with more speed and much less drag.

Just as importantly, we want the product to work for very different kinds of users without becoming confusing or bloated. A solo founder should be able to go from a rough product memo to an investor-ready deck in an afternoon. A teacher should be able to turn lesson notes into engaging classroom materials without spending the evening dragging text boxes around. A consultant should be able to summarize complex findings into a clean client presentation with a reliable export path. A larger organization should be able to standardize outputs, protect brand consistency, and eventually integrate generation into its own workflows. The common thread is not industry. The common thread is the need to communicate clearly, quickly, and confidently.

We also believe the future of AI presentation software should be trustworthy. Trust comes from output quality, yes, but also from transparency about what the tool can do today, how it is evolving, and where it still needs improvement. That is why this roadmap matters. It is not a collection of vague promises. It is a way of showing how we think about product priorities and how user needs shape the sequence of what comes next. If ChatSlide succeeds, it will not be because AI generated more slides. It will be because more people were able to share ideas effectively, teach more clearly, sell more persuasively, and create high-quality presentations without wasting time on work that software should have made easier years ago.
